Down 15 at the half. PatBev 2 missed layups. Russ 2 missed lay ups. LeBron 1 missed lay up. That’s 10 points right there. Is there a stat for missed lay ups because the Lakers would be at the top. By the way, Lonnie is our best 3 point shooter. Zero attempts. 2 shot total. While Russ is 1 for 6. Again, WTF!

Now, this is downright annoying. How can they miss all those wide-open layups while the Celtics are making all the threes they want? And you expect to win? Do you know how hard it is to dig yourself out of a deep hole of this magnitude against a good team? I have not kept track of the record but any game LeBron misses a wide-open layup at the beginning of a game like this the Lakers tend to lose. Down 15 at the half is not a good thing at all.

Patrick Beverley should never play another game in purple and gold. The guy cannot even make wide open layups. He and Schroder are the worst backcourt in the NBA. Come on, Rob. You’re going to burn out LeBron and AD before you make a trade. Grow some balls and make a trade.
Buba says
Tom, you are 100% right. While the Beverly experiment has completely failed I am even more disappointed with Dennis. He looks too passive and uninterested on the court. It seems as if he is being forced to play. Very different than the Dennis we had two seasons ago.
As for Beverly, I can’t believe the wide-open looks he gets from the the three point line only to misfire. It is really aggravating and unacceptable. In fact, teams have been clogging the paint and dare us to shoot from the distance. This makes the team unwatchable. Besides, why was Lonnie Walker not involved? He didn’t have many touches and was not teatured in the offense. That was a malpractice by the coaching staff and should be scrutinized.
This team really needs wing help and needs it now. Since we have a roster spot why can’t we bring in Camelo Anthony? He was one of our few bright spots last season.
We definitely need wings that can shoot the three. The more things stay the same like this the more I worry about us burning LeBron and AD to the ground.
Our margin for error is nonexistent and while the West is still bunged up Rob should make a move before it is too late, and not wasting another year of LeBron and AD.

Melo is worth a chance. But we need Bojan or such.
Buba says
We do have a roster spot to accommodate Melo whereas Bojan is matter of trade gymnastics and am not sure how that plays out, but Bojan would seem like a home run.

Not sure what anybody thought we were getting by bringing Dennis back. He’s suddenly better because he had a decent showing in some Euro tournament? Same dude we already let walj away for nuthin….
