"LeBron shouldn't facilitate the entire time, he's never had to do that in his career, he needs someone (Rondo) to organize, to allow him to get off the ball a little bit & create more opportunities for himself." @Sedano on the importance of Rajon Rondo pic.twitter.com/ZKUHbOQ25U

Just not with McGee or Howard at the 5.

THE RETURN OF PLAYOFF RONDO!
Based on Rondo’s history with AD and versus the Blazers, there’s a valid argument to be made that these changes might create a great starting lineup:
1. McGee with Kuzma,
2. KCP with Rondo
3. Green with Waiters
PG: Rondo
SG: Waiters
SF: James
PF: Kuzma
CE: Davis
Suddenly, you have a legitimate point guard and shooting guard, you add considerable playmaking which has been missing, and you have a more versatile and well rounded lineup.

Tom, I like this lineup a lot. But when folks talk a lot about the lack of defense from Rondo and Waiters, how do they cover those 2 spots? Is our 3 point shooting going to improve? Who is going to provide the spark off the bench? The lineup has yet to be tested but it’s worth giving it a try.

There are two ways of looking at those changes. First is obviously trading defense for offense. Second is Kuzma, Rondo, and Waiters could not play much worse than McGee, Green, and KCP have played. Overall, their offense should more than make up for any lost defense.

Got it.
