Indy should have a boatload of money. Re-sign Siakam at $40 Mil and LBJ at $40 Mil (IF).
40 mil for Siakam uses their available cap space. LeBron would have to sign for the MLE or about 13 mil.
Well I don’t totally understand the rules. HoopsHype has the Suns on the hook for $205 Mil next season and the Pacers at $114 Mil. So that difference is $90 Mil. I guess I am saying why can’t the Pacers pay $205 if they wanted to? LMK TNX
It’s complicated DJ. There are 3 levels. The basic salary cap will be around 142 mil. You can’t sign any free agents over that mark unless it’s your own free agent. There are exceptions, the 13 mil MLE and the 4 and half mil bi annual. The next level is the first apron at around 178 mil. You can only use the mini MLE around 5 and half mil. Second apron and you can use anything other then minimum contracts to fill out a roster.
Then teams like the Suns are toast with what they got. TNX for getting back!
