Dion and THT as the backcourt sounds fine with me if KCP, Avery and/or DGreen can’t start next year for whatever reason. Reggie Jackson is a FA btw. Dragic would be fantastic.

Great move by Vogel. Glad to see Frank make the right move.
This could be the answer for the Lakers.
Restored my faith in Frank Vogel as the coach.
No way we could start McGee against the small ball Rockets.

Lakers now need to go out and win this game without LeBron. AD needs to dominate. I like the move of putting cook in the lineup. He may be the purest three-point shooter on the roster. We need to hit our threes. Can’t be outshot from deep if we want to win this game. Also need to defend the three well.
Rockets and LeBron out may have given Frank the chance to start AD at the 5 but it’s up to AD and Kuz to show what this lineup can do so the coach gives it more looks the last three games and we learn how to optimize it going into the playoffs. There will still be matchups for McGee and Howard but the AD and Kuz starting lineup is the one we need to win the championship.

Been rooting for Vogel to do this before we start the playoffs. Rockets are the perfect opportunity and LeBron being out helps by opening door for Kuzma. Now AD and Kuz have to show Frank this is the lineup not for just the Rockets, but to win the championship. Bravo, Frank!

It looked terrible, couldn’t defend anything except the Gatorade tray. You can’t reword a semi to drive like a sports car on the blink of an eye. We’re a really bad matchup against Houston. Toronto, too. Small rangy teams with solid outside shooting are a problem for our team, more so than others because we are built around having a traditional 5.
