If I can’t get Steph or Beal I am not giving up Kuz and Trezz. That’s just me. Not that I wouldn’t take Lowery or Rubio or such, but Kuz and Trezz seem to be our best besides LBJ. Right now KCP, Mathews, and THT are not helping much. I think THT shoots too much, ain’t Kobe!

Haha. Sorry, Dave.
Unless we trade LeBron or AD, we don’t have the juice to get Steph or Beal but check out my Trade Opus.
No trades for Schroder because he’s our most indespensible guard and only one for Kuzma because he’s our best volume 3-point shooter.
That means everybody else is trade bait, including Harrell, Caruso, KCP, and THT because they’re the only ones who have real value to other teams.
Can’t get valuable players by offering Gasol, Matthews, or McKinnie and Morris and Dudley can veto any trade.

Sure was easy for Nets to get Harden and I forgot the Superstar they gave up for him. hmmmm. Why couldn’t we package Kuz, THT, KCP & Pick(s) for Beal? Might have to toss back Schroder? LBJ is our PG.

Haha. Dave, you’re conveniently forgetting the three first round draft picks (2022, 2024 and 2026) and four first round pick swaps (2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027) the Nets sent to Houston in addition to Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince, Caris LeVert, and Rodions Kurucs.
DJ2KB24 says
Yeah, I get that, but I realize Wiz may not go for it, but Beal is attainable player and money-wise matchups. I might go for a couple of your trades, but not sure why you want to get rid of Harrell? He brings: scoring, bounds and toughness under the hoop.

LOL, Dave. Beal is NOT attainable by us or teams like us, the Clippers, Bucks, and Nets who spent their draft picks already because he will require three or four first round picks like AD did, like Harden did, plus players to match salaries.
It’s simple. It’s a matter of elimination as to who’s available and has value to trade. That list is Trezz, KCP, Caruso, and THT. None of them are great 3-point shooters and chances are we will lose Trezz in free agency this summer. And he has a $9 million salary needed to match.
We need high percentage, high volume threes so it doesn’t make sense to trade Kuz. Plus he’s rebounding, defending at a high level. We found out how indispensable Schroder was when he was out for four games. We ain’t trading LeBron or AD and Dudley is now injured and he and Morris have veto power.
