Had a chance to spend some time talking B-Ball with Uncle Boudreaux yesterday at the Super Bowl Fish Fry and he brought up a good point point. Why would a GM give up anything of current real value for draft picks that are 5 & 7 years down the road….when odds are he won’t even BE the GM by the time they come around?

I think that’s a valid point. The counter is that the picks could be gold since they’re post-LeBron. Probably have to make them unprotected to give them real value. We’ll see. They obviously don’t have as much value as a 2022 draft pick. That’s for sure.
