I'll think for a long time about how much of a difference these 2-3 inches made
if KD's foot is behind the line, it goes down as one of the greatest buzzer-beaters in NBA history and the Nets superteam has a chance to win their first title
instead… pic.twitter.com/NblA9if6FR— Rodger Sherman (@rodger) June 20, 2021

It didn’t matter they had 3 Superstars. The difference was a couple inches. That’s how little it takes man. I love sports!

That was actualy a great call by Nash to run an iso on KD where he could chose to take the 3 or drive for 2. Sometimes those damn feet are just too big and the court too small.
Magicman says
i completely get shortening bench, Tom, if you feel thats the way to win…I just dont understand doing it in Game 7…I think Steve can be a great coach, but he made some errors as a rookie coach and who wouldn’t in thst environ. Should get better.
LRob says
That’s the D’Antoni effect Sean. He’s notorious for not using his bench.
Buba says
Does anyone else agree KD playing the entire game without any rest was a bad idea? I mean this is the second game in the series he played the entire game without rest. He was completely gassed and tired at the end of the game missing the last-second shots he automatically makes. The Nets scored only two points in overtime and KD’s last shot was an airball.
Magicman says
It was a bad idea, Buba. The Nets have no depth that Nash can trust. Bad move to try and squeeze everything outta KD.
