For some reason Rui is over looked on this team. This is what he did last year when Ham finally inserted him into the starting lineup. This is what he did in the Olympics and in the preseason. He has taken a step defensively over that period. Last night neither Randle or Reed did much against him. He also had 2 steals and he blocked Rudy. I think what will be his next big step is rebounding. 3 offensive boards last night.
One of Rui’s best games as a Laker.
