Well, this is good news. I’m happy cooler heads prevailed and the league didn’t make an overly emotional decision to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Better to maintain your leverage and turn the situation into a protest than damage the league that’s given you the platform to fight for justice.
I do think the boycott will end up increasing the pressure on the Wisconsin legislature and Kenosha police department to do the right thing. I only pray the protests remain peaceful and don’t play into the racists’ hands by becoming violent and hurting the effort to dethrone Donald Trump.
