Clifford used lineups with 4 or 5 three-point shooters on the floor, which Bucks struggled to defend. Great game by Vucevic, who scored 33. Giannis scored 31 but had little impact in second half. Bucks looked very beatable.
The Bucks will obviously bounce back but this again illustrates why Giannis needs to be surrounded with shooters and why he’s not ready to be the best player on a championship team.u
A disappointing playoffs for the Bucks will only inspire more Giannis to the Lakers stories, especially if LeBron and AD play great and the Lakers win the championship. As I keep saying, the destiny of the Lakers and legacy of LeBron and AD is riding on these playoffs. That could include recruiting Giannis.
