Nope. And not even in a statue conversation. Lebron, begrudgingly get a Jersey with a heavy side eye. No statue for him either unless he gravy trains his way for a Luka-led ring.
I say NO on a Davis jersey retirement. Even though he will make hall of fame, I don’t think the one championship is enough. But in this day and age, it’s all about image to the fans. I’d rather see Byron Scott and AC Green’ s jersey retired than Davis. But, it’s unlikely either of those two will make hall of fame…
Actually his last game was playing a couple of minutes against a sad Philly team, getting some mystery ouchie, going down for the rest of that game, and watching his team lose whatever momentum they had and floudering against an inferior opponent. That’s AD’s Laker legacy in a nutshell.

Thanks for always keeping us on our toes, not knowing which AD would show up, or if he’d show up at all.

How about, bye?

And outside one magical season where his unreliable body got to rest for a couple months, not a whole lot of winning.

Hell, yes, but no statue unfortunately.
