Actually if I were Rob, I would quit. Most GM’s are negotiate a trade and run it by the owner. Jeanie has so little confidence that he has to run everything by a committee. Dr Buss liked stars, and while The Lakers chased stars, other teams snatched up players that could have helped. Perhaps he has a star mandate as well. As long as Jeanie is in charge I believe the Lakers GM, who ever that is will have their hands tied. She should hand Jessie Buss the reins and go back to the business side where she belongs.
Rob will never quit. Jeanie will never stop meddling. It’s almost like being a Clippers fan now, minus the overtly scumbag owner.
Or Prince signing with the Bucks could signal the Lakers were trading with Nets for a pair of wings.
