LA vs opponent’s offensive engines:
POR: Dame P&R fuels rest of offense. Hard hedging + POR not being able to effectively attack 4v3 -> LA in 5
HOU: Harden penetration fuels open 3s. LA trapping & 3-2 zone + HOU not being able to attack 4v3 or beat a high school D -> LA in 5

Like the Blazers and Rockets, the Clippers offensive engine is their superstar player: Kawhi Leonard. Frank Vogel will try to do the same to the Clippers as he did to the Blazers and Rockets. He will try to take away Kawhi Leonard.
While Dame’s and James’ games were built around their elite 3-point shooting, Kawhi’s game is built around his midrange game so expect Vogel to devise a defensive strategy to get the ball out of his hands by doubling him like the Lakers did against Dame and James. Doing that is why Vogel is likely to opt to continue to start Markieff Morris rather than JaVale McGee, although expect to see McGee and Howard to get opportunities to play this series.
