That was what I’ve been looking for! We came out with some playoff intensity from the tipoff and the Suns weren’t ready for it. That type of defensive effort will win alotta games even when the 3’s ain’t dropping. Finally took down a team with an elite guard..holding Book to a pretty pedestrian game by his high standards.
This Pels game will be interesting. Saw them for the 1st time Monday and came away impressed. Went into that SacTown craziness and pulled out the win with some high-energy defense and a super aggressive Brandon Igram. We’re slightly favored and it could be a close one. Lebron wants this; as his 40 minute performance proved on Tues….and that’s always gonna be hard to beat.
Definitely great to see us come up big in the season’s biggest game with two even bigger measuring sticks in front of us.
If we can win the IST, it will be important step toward fusing our identity as a dominant physical defensive team.
