LeBron tried to help the team improve. Not his fault they couldn't make the most of that opportunity. https://t.co/9NvqRAx3EU

As predicted. He knows the team’s going nowhere. The team knows it’s going nowhere when you’ve got 100mm tied up in 2 guys who ain’t that guy. May as well make some money and feelgood moments with father and son while you can before they come up short yet again. There was no trade available to fix this. No free agent that would’ve been the difference maker.
This is like those last few years of Kobe which is apparently the “brand” the Lakers want. Let’s overpay our washed former stars as they ride off into the sunset and the team into obscurity. Hey, it’s good for “the brand” I see him only taking 2 years as a big win. If that bad injury finally hits, then we’re done with him that much quicker.

The crazy part is that folks ever believed that LeBron was actually gonna give up HALF his salary in the 1st place. Another brilliant PR move by Rich Paul & LBJ.

What pay cut? Not to sure which super reliable “source” dropped that nugget but it’s always hilarious to watch other people give away LeBron’s money…

Rich Paul confirmed it. That’s how u knew it wasn’t gonna happen. But Lebron comes out looking like a hero for offering to save the franchise…That’s a next level chess move.
