Aloha,
Over the last couple of weeks, the Lakers have been rumored to be keeping their pick, trading it for a veteran and trading back in the draft. Which means there are rumors for every possible scenario. In other words, nobody knows. I’m sure Rob and staff hasn’t slept much over the last few days. It will be interesting to see what they decide. At the very least it’s fun to finally have multiple options for a change.

I think it’s all on the table, thus impossible to guess. Lakers and Indy made a deal, just (as always) not the click-bait deal. Lakers moved up a few spots in the 2nd round and showed how the power of cold, hard cash can still be a useful tool in the NBA.
Phoenix is asset-strapped out, now. Golden State is betting on the next 1-3 years, Lakers trying to navigate an interesting path that both maximizes now but also extends the AD window with younger dudes.
Who knows indeed.
