Aloha,
I just read another article about unhappy LeBron. I have zero sympathy for him. He is a billionaire that makes around a 100 mil in endorsements a year. If he is truly the winner and that’s what he’s about he could have signed a new deal in the 30 mil range. That would have given us about 53 mil in cap space. And if wanted to be traded? It’s a lot easier to trade 30 mil than nearly 50 mil. You can sign several quality players with 53 mil. He also is partially responsible for the Russ fiasco as well. No sympathy and I tire from his whining.

Who dat built a School with College Scholarships? Who Dat B? Kryrie, KD, Joker, Steph, AD, Kareem, Magic, Michael, Joel, Giannis………………………………………………….? We also went Ringless for 10 freaking years till LBJ.

Yep and now the window is shut for another ring. You need a quality supporting cast to win another ring. There is not a trade out there that can do that.

There are deals that would make the Lakers contenders but none that they appear willing to make. It’s all about whether L.A. will make the picks unprotected.
Michael H says
There really isn’t. Trade machine fantasy without taking under consideration what the other team wants in return or what competing teams have to offer.

LeBron starting a school has nothing to do with him being a terrible shadow GM. He has always pressured trades that were bad for the team. Then he bales. That’s his pattern. And it looks like it will happen here.

It’s not LeBron whom you should be pissed at, Michael. It’s Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka. They’re the real culprits.
The problem with the Lakers right now is not LeBron James or Anthony Davis, It’s the dysfunctional and visionless Lakers ownership and front office and the terrible rosters they have doomed LeBron and AD to the last three seasons.
If you think it’s hard to surround LeBron and AD with size, shooting, and defense, then imagine how hard that’s going to be from scratch if you trade LeBron and AD. All that does is open huge doors for Rob and Jeanie and the crew to screw up more.
Lakers need to bite the bullet and trade Russ and the picks for players who are good fits with or without LeBron and AD. You can’t expect to win by surrounding them with a bunch of small point guard who can’t shoot or defend.

I think it’s fair to be pissed at all of ‘em. They all have their fingerprints all over this. Except, basically, Russ who just plays hard and fits poorly.
