My opinion is there probably isn’t one Goat. LBJ, sure, Kobe, yes, MJ, of course, perhaps even Magic, Kareem, Russell? Not really a Gretzky standing alone. Just my thoughts. : )
VOTE, if you haven’t and Vote for Democracy as we’ve known it! Don’t let it slip away, Lakers didn’t!!

I very much agree with you, DJ. There isn’t one Goat. The talk of Goat is never going to go away, and all of these superstars you mentioned will forever be remembered for their greatness. While some of them have pioneered and engineered their craft to greater heights, others have gone on to carry them to perfection.
That was a good reminder about going out and vote. There has never been a better time to go out there and vote than this time around. So much going astray, and it is within our power through voting that we can effectively make the realization of a better future come true. Thanks for the post.

Yup.

I’d have trouble naming the greatest Laker, then add Lebron and MJ to the contest? It’s pointless to try, team trophies are all that matter anyway.

And I voted a couple weeks ago. I didn’t go for the incumbent or the one with the nicest tie (apologies to Graham Parker)
Buba says
Hahaha!! You got me laughing hard. You are absolutely right, John.
John M. says
I wouldn’t make it past to the 1st round
John M. says
Think about it. A vote for Goat would involve each team’s fans selecting their favorite all-time player. Then you would have the process of reducing it to some # of finalists, blah blah blah.
Buba says
Exactly.
