Great show gents. I will say i think the Lakers will play everyone (if they can go) until they clinch the 6th seed. if there are games to be played and we can’t fall back into the playin I expect them to sit AD, DLO and LBJ.
Some teams that have won more than expected may regret those W’s come Lottery Day but athletes aren’t wired to lose so there it is.
They do it for the Super Bowl, too. No NBA games. I think they realize it’s a net-sink in terms of attendance, ratings, et al.
Do we really match up better against SacTown or Phoenix? I honestly think it’s a wash. Clinch a playoff seed and be happy with the rest.
CBA talk!!! “Are you not entertained?!” Yeah, work stoppage would be the worst.
-Love the 65 game minimum for major awards
-Love no ganja testing
-Private Equity being the NBAPU is basically an optics thing. These guys are smarter than foot ball leagues that allow pretty much anyone with a cool billion to invest in a team. Murdering Saudi Prince? We love money! Russian Oligarch who sells teens for sex? Cash rules! This step is to allow owners to bolster revenue and up payroll without sacrificing the platform the players have worked hard to create.
-Smoothing is brilliant, should have been done last time.
-LOVE the 3 two-way deals
-24 hours to match makes sense, what’s the extra day for but to penalize the team that made the offer sooner.
-NBA fax technology is top line man, don’t diss it!
-I don’t mind the semi-hard cap. I think it makes so much more sense to encourage teams to use the draft but I do wish it came with provisions in terms of players who have played for one team for X number of years counting less towards the cap. I’d like for it to reward loyalty and chemistry.
-The unruly fan was an utter jack-ass
-Gerald is right, Larry Coon should be at least second in command in the front office…
