One can find article after article on how not landing Kyrie was a missed opportunity. What opportunity? When the Nets team owner tell his front office that they can not trade Kyrie to the Lakers, what were the Lakers to do? Where is the lost opportunity?
Yeah…except that the Nets actually made a counter-offer that included Reeves & Christie. So there was some wiggle room there and that was the “missed” opportunity. Tsai didn’t totally shut it down.
