You are absolutely right, DJ. So sad though. Does that mean he can get his paycheck to stay home and not coach?

Interesting trade proposal by Sean.
Lakers saving picks & swaps to trade for superstar is fools’ gold. Can’t outbid Thunder & Spurs.
Incl 2 rising young players like Reaves & Knecht changes that dynamic. Reaves, Knecht, 2 unp firsts and 2 unp swaps is fair deal for Fox imo. https://t.co/GztgGnyfgF pic.twitter.com/fHiK7bhOWB

I would rather keep the 3 players…the future picks…and enjoy watching good basketball going forward…watcing the 6 total players develop into a winning system.

Add in Klutch factor and there's certainly a path for the Lakers to pursue Fox, who's a consensus top-10 NBA point guard.
Offering Russell, Reaves, Knecht, and the equivalent of 4 unprotected first round picks is a fair offer for De'Aaron Fox.
Be interesting if LA pursues Fox.

If you don't think Sacramento doesn't want both AR/DK for their best franchise player in damn near 2 decades that's also an All-NBA Caliber guy
I don't know what to tell you

I’m absolutely against any of the proposed trades……Reaves, Knecht, Russell, and multiple picks for Fox…..that’s insane…it’s a typical click bait trade proposal by the likes of Jovan Buha and other so called EXPERTS….one year out and Lebron is slower and retired, Davis is injured…..Rui has been dealt as another scapegoat move…..and who’s on the court???? Fox and the gimp Vanderbilt…????????? Remember all the touting of the VANDOLORIAN????? LOLLOLOLOL

@humanomaly, you got me laughing out loud! That is very funny but true.
-
The Vandolorian thing??? I read somewhere that he gave himself that nickname, if true…sad, if not true…and others gave it to him, tricking growup!!! I have been saying for 2 plus years that he is bad, he had a moment or two (against Steph in playoffs) but other than that he is an inconsistent defender, a poor rebounder for a guy that doesn’t shoot, and the notorious black hole on offense….he passes the ball away like it’s a hot potato….he will never have an offensive game…..mid 20’s in age, in the NBA and cannot score even occasionally??? Few players in the league have no trade clauses…..Vandolorian has a non trade contract….his contract, IMHO, is worse than those given to Mozgov and Deng….

Despite losing Anthony Davis early, the Lakers never lost their composure against the Warriors, leaving JJ Redick impressed after the win.
“I think what I liked most was just our poise throughout the game,” Redick said. “Starting with AD being out and us not getting rattled by that and us having to kind of adjust on the fly. I thought in the first half, we had really good spacing and really got to a lot of paint touches. Got to some re-drives. We shot 42 threes, 30 assists with nine turnovers against their pressure. It wasn’t perfect for us but just the poise we had throughout the game.”
In addition to the stats mentioned by Redick, one of the biggest ones for the Lakers that also proved vitally important was their 18-18 shooting at the free-throw line. As the Warriors were hitting big 3-pointers late, the Lakers kept responding at the charity stripe to force Golden State to keep hitting bigger and bigger shots.
Poise hasn’t often been a characteristic attributed to the Lakers often in recent years. Even earlier this season, the Lakers were prone to let go of the rope and let games get out of hand.
On Wednesday, that never happened. Few runs are harder to withstand than a Steph-led 3-point barrage that gets Warriors fans on their feet. The Lakers’ holding firm against those runs and having answers is a big sign of growth.
Now, the challenge will be to build on this performance and not make it a flash-in-the-pan showing.

Still think priority is a starting center who can unleash Anthony Davis at both ends. Robert Williams or Nikola Vucevic.
-
If you follow what’s been coming out of the Lakers camp, it would be or not and. Their top priorities are center and PG. Also per just about every LA writer Rui is not on the trade block unless it’s for a star. Also Finny-Smith doesn’t fit the criteria of playing the next 4 or 5 years. They are looking at younger guys if they are going to use those firsts. Evan should pay attention.
-
The only explanation for the often conflicting information that the Lakers front office leaks is different factions want different things.
There’s obviously a group that understands that James is now a power forward and wants a legitimate 3&D wing.
Then there’s a group that understands AD is the future and he wants a bruising starting center to unleash him to roam at both ends of the court.
Right now, it sounds like the center/point guard group is in charge.
Of course, we’ve all bought the false Pelinka hopes before. Right now, I think he has no choice but to make a move. Hopefully, last night’s game was one of those turning point moments when everybody magically ends up on the same side and the Lakers boldly go for another championship.-
Actually Tom, no one from the Lakers have said they want a starting center. Yes they want a big defensive center but as back up. In an interview recently JJ even stated that he isn’t fond of playing another center with AD.

There are regular season games that mark turning point in team's season. Last night's triumph over Dubs w/o AD & DLO could have been one of those games.
Behind great effort from LeBron & Austin and bench, Lakers may have shown Rob why he must make a major trade right now. https://t.co/0TYaTV0xmr pic.twitter.com/pnYugC3EJC

In the now and a few years down the road plan…I feel this trade is a NO. Trading away the 3 players is trading away the NOW. Lebron’s longevity and Davis’ tendency to pick up injuries projects to disaster when they are both unavailable and team is reliant on one point guard, as good as Fox is for the most part.
