What can Myles Turner bring to a new team if traded this offseason?
His https://t.co/3Xagb3XCzp Player Profile sheds some light:
🟡 Average 3PT shooting
⚪️ Strong finishing but poor creation at the rim
🟡 Strong roll/pop/slip impact
⚪️ Top notch rim protection pic.twitter.com/pxST6DnSBB— BBall Index (@The_BBall_Index) June 18, 2021

Just a note: New #Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle LOVES Myles Turner. He called him "the future of the center position" recently. This could change Indiana's offseason plan quite a bit.

It’s interesting when people talk about parity, the Pacers are a great example of that…just to tear it down for what???
-
Pacers fans spend money like other fan bases and they have a competitive team. Parity only works for those when they see opportunities to take advantage of weakness…
-
The Lakers do not have the cap space to take advantage of these “perceived” advantages. We’re limited and other teams can offer better packages…

His handle is still sloppy, it’s not disciplined at all. You can time his rhythm and swipe…
-
-
-
He has an array of moves, his crossover is 2nd to none, he loves scoop layups, he finishes with a plethora of creativity…He’s always in the Top 10 of Pick and Roll guards in the league in terms of assist ratio…
-
-
-
Not sure why both teams would hard-cap themselves for what is essentially a lateral move. Probably have to get creative and bring in a 3rd team to make it feasible. If he really wanted to come to Lakers the he probably
shouldn’t have opted out.-
That’s what I’m saying though. I think this is designed to give the Nets a return on a boneheaded move they decided to make. Makes no sense for the Lakers to trade for Spence when they can sign him.

Possibly attainable point guards I would prefer over Dennis Schroder:
1. Kyle Lowry
2. Lonzo Ball
3. Chris Paul
4. Kemba Walker
5. Russell Westbrook
6. Malcolm Brogdon
7. Cameron Payne-

Only death and taxes are guarantees in life…Pacers trading Myles Turner ain’t happening under Rick Carlisle.
-
I respectfully disagree, Sean. Turner will be traded. The issue is simple, Sean. After two years, the numbers for Turner and Sabonis are terrible. The Twin Towers experiment has been a failure. Carlisle knows this. Everybody knows this. It’s why the Pacers have been talking about a Turner trade the last two years.

Brand is still the GM, technically and Morey didn’t hire Doc, they go together like Oil and water 💦…Doc and Brett Brown are both being paid this upcoming year by the Sixers..

Ben is rightfully taking most of the heat. Ownership will give this new FO team time to make its mark..as they should. Can’t have $35mill of your cap space tied up in a dude who’s scared. Morey & Rivers didn’t do that..not sure what role EB played in it though.

Raps will get a Superstar.
Cade will stay in Detroit for 7 years and ask for a trade. No evidence they will build and spend to have a winner around him.
-
It also eliminates the Raps as a trade partner for Ben Simmons. They’ve invested in FVV. They spend a 1st round pick on Malachi (Malakey) Flynn, they’re gonna spend this pick on a guard…
-
-
The big deal-o is Elton Brand remains the GM…he signed Doc to a 5 year contract through 2025…Daryl can fire Elton whenever he wants. He likely will at some point…he is also paying Brett Brown and Doc for 2021-22. He can fire Doc trade Ben

“Pistol Pete” Maravich would have averaged 13 3 pointers a game and 57 PPG if the three point line existed when he played in college!

Pete Maravich put up 51 PTS on 21/34 shooting.
Can you imagine how many points Prime Pistol would have averaged if the NBA had a 3PT line? It was introduced during his final season. He made 10 of 15.

Jerry West's shot was so tough to guard. There is only a fraction of a second between the time he picks up his dribble and his shot getting released.
