The thing with free agency is like when you’re looking for a kidnap victim. You have 24 hours to find a home or your chances of getting one decreases significantly. Schroeder and Reggie should have had deals ready to roll minute one, that’s honestly on their agents/representatives and not them. Point is, you’re not NBA royalty, you don’t see yourself as an MLE, Vet Min but now there’s nowhere for you to go. Something will have to bend or break and it will be the ask and role for both guys. Honestly see Reggie finding a home first. Dennis played his way into Mudville.

I’m not, he had no fit there and likely didn’t want to play. NYC is a good fit for him. Thibbs can find a way to use his shooting and defense and they need some vets to balance out the young core.

You could reduce his usage rate and still keep the efficiency with the right ball handler. Because being a little unpredictable with him as an off-ball shooter gives them better options in the playoffs
