Their A team beat our B team. At least our new 3 point shooters are shooting at will, uh, not making them, but…With injuries I think we’ll really struggle to make the PO’s. Too many West teams that are really good.

Chillax, Dave. All is well in Lakers universe. Lakers are now 5-3, won 3 in a row and 4 out of 5, and are now 3rd in the West just a 1.5 games out of first place. AD is now playing the 5, LeBron playing the 4, and the team starting to show it’s championship mettle even though it’s early and they have 11 new players and a new offense and defense.

Good thing we were playing an awful team. I was hoping Russ would make LBJ a better 3 shooter. I never really thought that most of these supposed “3” shooters would really help. We needed a Dame or such. If they were any good they wouldn’t bounce from team to team.

Let’s see DJ. Melo is currently shooting .522 from 3, I think you could say that’s helped. Bazemore is shooting.427 from 3. That’s also very good. The other 2 shooters we brought in Ellington and Nunn haven’t played yet. It’s LeBrons 1 for his last 13 that’s been a problem.

I feel you on how our 3 point specialists can be limited and LBJ is streaky but really we need to focus on dominating the paint anyhow. Lakers can’t rely on the three, need to do it with D and get easy buckets inside.

Thru the first 6 game we are 42% 34% 71%. And in game 7 we were below all of the average of first 6 games against a worthless team. Just stating the facts “mam.” : )

Just all of our shooting from all over is below what I think they should be against most of the teams they have played. The 34% doesn’t include last nites 9-31 from 3. Not dissing Melo or Baze, just overall not great, yet.

l have been skeptical about our three point shooters as well. However, the more I see the players getting more confident in their new roles the more I feel like it’s just a matter of time before the three point fire works begin. So far my main concern has been their inability to defend the three point line, but I am pretty confident that will be resolved sooner rather than later. I am learning to be patient with a new team even though I get to scratch my head a lot because of poor defense and silly turnovers. But that’s what you get when you have to start all over with a new team.

Kuz is going to have a good year. When LeBron came Kuz seemed like he adjusted the best with LeBron and he had a very good season 18.7 ppg. But once AD came on board he never seemed to figure how to play with both of them. In my opinion he became too unselfish. I think he can be a 20 ppg player as the 2nd option.

Hi, DJ. That’s awesome! What worries me is that every Lakers game feels like a playoff game. So we are going to need every support for the team on the road. I missed out on the Lakers game last year, but I am planning on going to see them this year. That should be fun. We’ve got to make some noise when they come to town.
