Hahaha! Love it, DJ. AR delivered for us tonight. Not sure who gets the game ball, though I thought it should be AR. Russ collapsing the defense and making the outlet pass for the dagger was brilliant. It all wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for Ellington’s marksmanship to send the game to overtime. Best game of the season in my opinion.

Please…enough with the Caruso comparisons. Reaves and he were undrafted and the similarities end there.
Caruso – 1 ring
Reaves – zero
Caruso – better defender
Reaves – better shooter
Caruso – proven himself already
Reaves – still has a lot to prove. He made a great shot, many have, if that’s the play that defines him he’ll have done himself a disservice.

LOL. Alex and Auston have more in common than different.
Two undrafted white players who were plus/minus gods and did all of the little things on offense and defense and won the respect of the superstars they played with and fans who loved them? Not similar players?
They’re both the same size, both hustle all the time, both have high BBIQ and savvy. Caruso is more of an elite defender who can shoot while Reaves will become an elite shooter who can defend.
No not the same player but a litany of shared positive traits playing the same role. Austin is definitely filling the role with the team and the fans that Alex filled so well during his run.

I agree with you, Tom. They are not the same players but their similarities can not be ignored. And speaking of similarity, Kobe Bryant’s style of play reminds me of Michael Jordan.

We choked and sold our tix. No Covid Rules at all! First 2 rows were supposed to wear masks and if you look, hardly any did. We did not want to risk even though we have been vaxxed. Hopefully we will get another chance. At the time was not sure he was going to be suspended for this game. Glad he weren’t!

Thought we were going to hit a new bottom tonight but maybe the fourth quarter is the start of a bounce back improvement in play for the rest of the season. LOL, I could really use that.

Another smack down, we really have to admit we are struggling big time. LBJ played well, but seems like we have too many retreads that just aren’t working. Not sure what we can even do? No team will take Westy. Yep LT, so far the glass is half empty, ha, ha. At some point we may have to think about just making the PO’s and we have lost many games we should have won. Ain’t giving up, but this is NO FUN!

You are right, DJ. A lot of questions that need answers. Is there a cure for turnovers and lack of boxing out for rebounds? How about competing for lose balls? We keep getting back to those same questions all the time. Getting tiresome.
We fought hard tonight though, but we couldn’t get the stops down the stretch when we needed them. It is also frustrating to lose when you looked like the better team for a good stretch.
