When I saw him set his foot I knew he was going to take a low percentage three which is fine with me at that point. He was definitely feeling it but it also cost us the game. I don’t like going for those kinds of shots to end a game when all we needed was a high percentage two. I don’t care if it is LeBron or whoever it has to be a good shooter in the flow of the game to go for the winner in that situation. That would have capped an already magnificent night from Russ. I guess they were tired from the second night of a back-to-back on the road to go to overtime.

Some of us are more critical than others, and that makes for a lively atmosphere. I just am not qualified to question the professionals, so I defer to their knowledge and experience. Been pretty happy with the results over the decades.

DJ, it’s not just you alone. I think just about everyone was thinking the same way too. I agree with you on the last play. It would have made more sense if drove to the hoop or find someone else. In fact, Stanley was right there wide open. But at least they gave us a reason to be optimistic when everybody gets back.

I thought I was the only one who hated that unfair rule. That’s the worst kind of rule there ever is, having to pull down the curtain without the other team having the chance to respond. They need to change this rule for the integrity of the sport and fairness to all.

It occurs to me the same way too. It’s like when teams play the Lakers they can’t seem to miss from the three-point range. I have always struggled to understand that.

You are right about the turnovers. Way too many, and most of them were unforced. Maybe it is due to the long flight and having the mind and body to adjust. But I will take the win. Any win at this point is a good win, no matter how, and no matter who.

You made a good point about Reaves not shooting the ball when he is supposed to. But then again, he makes up for it by making plays that result in high percentage shots for others. That’s a nice trade-off but it would be much more beneficial if he learns how to find a balance between the two.

I am still trying to figure out how this game got out of hand. It happened so fast, from the third quarter onwards. But it says a lot about how inferior this team is playing compared to other teams. As it has been the case in most of our losses the energy is never there and the tentativeness becomes more prevalent.
