Still a loss. We cannot afford to lose when 2 other teams are closing in on us.

Sore left knee. I just hope we keep Imbid from taking scoring lead. Will be interesting to see the team without LeBron tonite. I think no chance of winning. : (

Lol, every game has told us the same thing: we suck at defense, are prone to taking off entire quarters and we don’t get up for anyone. That’s the team, there’s nothing more to learn until AD and maybe Nunn plays, if they even play.

Guess you haven’t watched any of the last three games? Team has played much better. LeBron and Russ have been great. Young Lakers have made the difference.

LBJ is a marvel at 37! He’s averaging 37 min per!

Ain’t looking good, too many TOs and zero “D.”
So much for hope tonite?3 Comments-
OKC will be the only remaining game we’ll be favored to win. If the Spurs were any good they woulda already knocked us out but they haven’t been able to seize the opportunity.

LBJ is gassed trying to do what AD and Westy should be helping with! They ain’t! Sit LBJ down before he tears an achilles (sp) like Kobe when Danitoni ran him into the ground. Vogel is doing the same!

Yes, LeBron is gassed and has been ever since Moby Dick was a goldfish.
This is a very sad situation for LeBron. The more I see him carrying this team on his back the more my heart breaks.
I don’t like saying this, but most people would agree with me that this season was lost due to the lack of availability of AD. His fragility and injury proneness have set this team on a backward spiral. Not that it is his fault, but his injuries are far too common to give this team any chance to succeed.
Going back to last season’s playoffs, his injury may have more than likely cost us our season and many here would agree. There is a reason why not much was said on his birthday as far as birthday greetings go. Fans are having a sense of resignation simply because he is mostly not available.
This season is no different.
LeBron has no choice but to undertake a Herculean task of taking the bull by the horns while treading water. He is visibly tired, battered, and dazed. Not sure how much longer he would be able to carry on, but he is certainly reaching a point where every indication is his body will start breaking down in front of our eyes.
Very sad indeed.-
When you’re 37 and have over 51,000 minutes on your body, gassed is your standard state of being, and silly mfers who think otherwise probably still believe in Santy Clause. Now let’s get back to facts. Bron, Rich, and the FO all knew it going into the season that Bron wasn’t going to be able to elevate anything now on the downside of his career. They also had a pretty strong inkling the odds are against getting 70ish games a year outta Streetclothes. So with those two likelihoods in mind, they all scoured the landscape and considered what moves were actually available to them, and the sad reality they settled on was Russ. It was either going to succeed or fail gloriously. Now, most of us knew it was going to be the latter. They really had no other choices, and with the limited options to make the most out of Bron’s last season or two of actual NBA stardom, they took about the only one they had. Sadly, they just checked box scores and had no idea Russ was not a winning ball player any more, and somehow Bron and his “off the charts bball IQ” apparently didn’t measure up to that of some amateur bloggers.

Like Ledzeplin, “I am dazed and confused.” You cannot shoot 10-45 from 3. Geeze Louise!

That is a major knockdown right now. No “D.” No nothing!

WOW! is definitely the word tonight, DJ. I have never seen such a downright pathetic performance in a quarter from a lakers team like what I saw in the first quarter tonight. YMCA game?
I just have no words for this dismal and melancholy performance to start a game. Missed wide-open shots, lack of defense, and a body language that spells a total lack of confidence are doomed to failure.
Things may even get worse as we face the Wolves next who are hitting their stride unless this team takes a moment to figure out how to get rid of this problem that doesn’t seem to go away.

LBJ didn’t play the 4th, could put up another 50. That’s the only thing worth watching. Might as well win the Scoring Title.

I knew we would be toasted, but not this way. LeBron should not have to lead the team in everything!

Yeah, this will tell us a lot about how the Lakers will be able to handle teams with big offensive oriented centers like Philly and Denver.
Will be tough without AD but the key is to stretch the floor and pull Embiid away from the basket on offense. Defensively, I think we have to double Embiid and scramble and use our athleticism to compete. Need to be hitting our threes today.
