Yes we did DJ. Even though Tatum was the consensus best player in the draft, Magic thought Lonzo would be a great Hollywood story. Local boy makes good. Actually the staff wanted Tatum and even preferred Fox over Lonzo. Just one of the many huge mistakes the Laker management have made.

That’s what I thought. I saw Tatum and Fox play college alot here in Indyland. Only thing about Lonzo is he couldn’t shoot a lick.

If I posted this before, tough stuff. My parents took me to St. Louis to see Lakers at the Hawks. There was a College Game prior and I saw Jer, Elg, Tommy Hawk and Imhoff sitting seats away. I asked my Mother if she would get their Auto’s, but she handed me a Note Pad and said you go. I did and volly holly! Thrilled to this day Mr. Clutch and Elg, TH and DI!

Lakers should have agreed to trade Reaves in the deal and to give Kyrie 4-years rather than just 2-years. They could have had Kyrie but chickened out as usual.

Pacers, choke again. No Haliburton. If they resign Siakam, Indy would be a great young team for LBJ to join. They needed someone like him to control the hasty Pacees!

If Pacers open up their spending and Siakam would take 37 Mil again and LBJ would take $40 Mil, I am getting season tickets. LOL

Better execution at the end of games by the Celts…same reason we keep losing to the Nuggs. You gotta know Jrue Holiday ain’t the guy you wanna challenge at the end of the game….he’s gonna make that play the majority of the time. Compare that to the end of the Mavs/Wolves. Luka sought out Gobert, put him on skates, and…game. Also, when you play that up & down style so much like the Pacers it’s hard to shift into that grind house of end-of-game, high-pressure playoff mode.

free throws Indy 10, that’s a big HMMMM?? Only had 6 until 4 at games end. Indy had it wrapped with a 3pt lead and the ball with 8.5 seconds left, but their in-bound pass was knocked of Siakam and J brown hit a 3 with a few seconds to send game into overtime. Carlyle should have called a TO when it was apparent they had to force it in. Indy really has no chance, NBA wants Celts not the Indy country boys.

Record, LBJ player 71 Games and Led Team in Scoring, Assists and Steals. Shot a great 54% for 2pt and 41% from 3pt. Won the First In Season Tourney and Blocked a boatload of shots when absolutely needed. Lacking over all “D,” yep. And also puts those Behinds in those Seats! Making Lakers lots of $$$$$$$!

LBJ did out shoot Luka and Steph from 3pt. I’ve said for a couple years he would be a great off the ball shooting guard.

It’s not steals or blocked shots where Lebrons defense has slipped DJ. It’s getting out on shooters and contesting shots, and it’s staying in front of quick players as well. Thats where he’s dropped off. He takes defensive positions off to conserve his energy. And that’s okay, he makes up for it on offense. I’m fine with LeBron at the 4. But you hear people wanting to move AD to the 4 and bring in another center. I do not want LeBron chasing wing players on the perimeter at 40, unless you want to run him into the ground. At the 4 he sits back and reads the offense and makes plays. Thats what he is best suited for at this stage of his career.

Timberwolves have the size and length to counter Jokic, Gordon, and Porter, Jr. Lakers now have two big teams that they are going to have to go through to get to the Finals. LA needs to add modern starting center alongside AD in a tw0-bigs lineup.
