Thanks, Buba. I’m having a nice day with my daughter and the pooch. Beach in the morning, grilling soon. Not sure if Bruno likes the beach or the BBQ better:)

John, I am inclined to be with you on that. The more a lie is repeated the more people tend to believe it unless proven otherwise.

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

Today, I decided to go with a little story instead of a quote. I hope you all will enjoy it.
The story may be confusing but the message is clear: no one took responsibility so nothing got accomplished. It is also a reflection of “shoulda, woulda, coulda.”
It’s a story that plays out often in organizations and companies and on teams—anywhere there is culture that lacks accountability.
-
No way, that story rings true nowadays. Felt a lot like the early part of the Laker summer when the blame game ran rampant.

You are right, as far as the Lakers go. They took the first step going in a different direction. But this story is not about the Lakers only, it is about the lack of accountability in many organizations.
-
LOL. I said ‘who’s on first’ just because the story reminded me of great wordplay. Was no deeper meaning to the comment. LOL.

Got it, man.
Off-topic: Tom, I do need some advice from you, John, and anybody on this blog, who is a pet lover. I found out from one of your recent comments that you have a German Shepherd.
Well, recently a former neighbor of ours from a previous suburb passed away, but the family decided to let me adopt the German Shepherd she left behind. She is big, powerful, and looks scary, and my wife is scared of her but otherwise, she is gentle.
So here is the question, with the temperatures in Atlanta getting hot and humid, is it advisable to leave her outside in the backyard which is full of trees and plenty of shades, all day? There are spots she likes to stay under but I am always worried about the heat and humidity. I don’t want to let her stay in the house all day either, so she doesn’t poop inside the house. My wife and I are mostly gone for most of the day, and that’s why we don’t want to leave her inside all day.
What advice could you all give me?
