OH NO!!! I hope no team out there is willing to shell out $52mil, sign Bronny, and let Rich Paul make al your personnel decisions, then, only to struggle your way to the play in. Time for this clown, his worthless kid, and his huckster hype man to GTFO outta dodge.
Just means LeBron wants a new 3-year extension, which will start a couple million more than player option. Gives him leverage to make sure the Lakers make the right offseason moves. Yeah, passive-aggressive but the right smart move by him imo.
You act like giving him that deal will leave the Lakers anywhere close to competing. Factor in signing DL0, and you’re over the apron. No MLE, and a bunch of other crazy restrictions. Wasting that 55 pick on Bronny should have Jeannie removed as Lakers governor for basketball reasons.
Lebron will maybe push to play those 65 games on 1-side of the ball, not contribute to a winning product while putting up some hollow stats.
As Lakers fans, we can only pray someone wants to take this nightmare off our hands, Jeannie swaps out Rob for Myers and stays the F out of Bball decisions, the Rambii are shown the door, the Lakers can get themselves out of purgatory, and finally start rebuilding the right way.
