If the Lakers make any trade, they “will likely offer a pick swap or second(s) in place of one of their picks in negotiations.”
Based on this, it seems like they don’t want to trade both firsts, but might trade one.

That’s encouraging. A pick and a swap could bring back value.
Exactly what I’ve been saying for a couple months now. Everyone assumes Rob has the freedom to do as he pleases when I think that, based in his past willingness to toss good picks at either bad players (or poor fits), or players we just let walk…that he’s operating under a handicap.
Like I’m sure if a gift trade landed in our laps the Lakers would do it. It won’t, thus the handicap.
