KO feels gettable, I’d this deal if that pick was too 5 protected.
I actually love this trade and I think Rui has the most value of any of the players the Lakers are looking to trade. He’s a quality offensive player who can shoot a high percentage.
I’ve always loved Kelly’s all-around game and he would be great playing next to Anthony Davis because of his high BBIQ and ability to space the court .
Davion is an excellent defender but not an efficient shooter but has potential. The idea of getting these two plus a first is obviously too good to be true but I do think Rui can bring us value.
The Raptors are asking for two 2nds for him. The Lakers would not give up a 1st for him anyway. He is 33 and falls out of the parameters they set for using a 1st. Besides our biggest need is a backup center that can rebound and defend. That’s not Kelly.
