Wins are always more fun than losses on the podcast. Lots of praise for LeBron’s huge game. I’m looking for LeBron to put on his scorer’s jersey and put together a string of a half dozen 40 and 50 point games. Lakers have 3 winnable games this week before facing the Suns next Sunday. Need to go into that game with a 4-game winning streak.
Also impressive game from Austin Reaves on defense. These teams continue to pick on the skinny white kid thinking it’s going to be easy. Meanwhile, Austin continues to get better and better. Made some plays last night that were pure Caruso-esque.
Loved the starting lineup of Russ, Monk, Reaves, and Johnson surrounding LeBron. Still some crazy lineups from Frank, who at one point had a lineup with Augustin, Bradley, and THT. Lakers starters other than Stanley did great. Bench other than Melo did not play well.
Liked that Frank limited rotation to 9 players. Just need better contributions from Johnson, Bradley, Horton-Tucker, and Augustin if we’re going to make a run. LeBron going to be looking to score big time the rest of the season. He may win scoring title this year at 37-year old.
