The one positive is the Laker have taken and made more threes on this road trip than any other stretch of this season.
Over the last 7 games, the Lakers have averaged 35.0 threes taken (13th), 14.4 threes made (7th), and 41.2% from deep (3rd).
While that may not be sustainable, it’s a big reason why we finished this road trip 4-3. Going to need to keep this up over the next 5 games to stay afloat.

There was a heated discussion on the podcast about the Play-In Tournament.
I love the way it is setup now, which is the #7 and #8 teams play with 7 getting home court advantage. Winner becomes the #7 seed. Then the #9 and #10 teams play with #9 getting home court advantage. The winner of #9 and 10 plays the loser of #7 and #8 for the #8 seed. Three win-or-go-home games with home court to top seed.
Gerald thinks it should be like March Madness. #7 plays #10 for the 7th seed and #8 plays #9 for the 8th seed. Just 2 games. I think that is too much like MLB where #7 team could lose 1 game and be out. In the current setup, #7 and #8 teams are guaranteed two shots at making the playoffs. The winner is the #7 seed but the loser can still win the #8 seed by beating the winner of the #9 vs. #10 seed.
So which scenario is best. The current scenario and Gerald’s idea?
Let us know what you think. Thanks.
