Was not able to make it on last night, my apologies. I was beat from the 9 walks and chasing a 4.5 year old around the stadium top to bottom and around and around.
-“There’s always two sides to every trade.” meaning a realistic and whaaaaaaaat the fuuuuuuuu- side lol
-The one issue I see with Tom’s super expanded version of his trade notions (aka: the walk off grand slam trade proposal) is that you’re asking a team to, essentially, blow up the entire team for three players they’re either going to buy out (Russ) and 2 others that are pretty likely to walk (THT and Nunn).
-There is a very real, and not wholly unintelligent, path to Russ staying all season and finishing out his deal with us.
-I prefer for Russ to play it out rather than W&S. Personal feeling simply because I don’t like the idea of pay not to play. “They’re on drugs!!!” LOL!
-One thing we don’t often talk about is what the value of the draft picks are 5 years out. I think they’ll be worth more than maybe we think they are now.
-Kenneth Stone has some positive contributions, and he deserved his cohost add on to the title.
-Who here really think Russ will come off the bench? Come on man.
-I disagree with Russ not playing for the Lakers. I think he carries with him a level of heart and professionalism that will make this work. I’m willing to at least entertain Kenneth’s notions on Russ.

-Knicks ain’t dealing with us. They made it known before the season was over but also after they were out of the playoffs so nothing has changed. Waste of time to concoct trade proposals with the Knickerbockers unless you really want to overpay…like the deal Gerald mentions. That’s just all bad for the Lakers except you get Randle who has the ability to sulk even more than Russ does.
-I think, even if he seems semi-willing to sign the extension, we should at least entertain the idea of trading LeBron. We definitely should take calls on AD.
-To Gerald’s point: we will never see a full season from Davis. It’s just not gonna happen.
-HOTLANTA! I love this trade partner because it feels like we can get players that fit in with what we need: defense. Laker Tom won’t want Clint, he can’t shoot threes lol. Tom cannot abide the idea of a center that only does things that centers should be good at. If they don’t hit threes at a roughly 34-36% range he’s no good.
-I would prefer to bring a center in. If they can hit threes, wonderful, if not at least be good on D and dunk.
-Wizards trade proposal: Tom didn’t think that one through. Hard to see why Washington would trade for the guy they just traded for to bring in a player they traded away. Makes absolutely no sense…from Washington’s perspective.
-LT will leave no stone unturned. W&S is a bad idea both for now and the future. Doubles down on a bad move. Take the hit for the one season.
-What’s up Kenneth Stone!!!!
-Thank you for the kind words, Mr. Stone.
-I like Kenneth’s positivity. Hard for me to disagree with mainly because of how the season went down. I think the Lakers did wrong by Russ and Frank and they don’t want to admit it. They did not set anyone up for success based on how they conducted business last summer.
-The reasons for keeping Russ continue to build. Kenneth has almost got me convinced.
-THT & a 1st for Caruso! Return of the GOAT!!!!
