Exactly, they have a little wiggle room to build a team this season. Likely means Ayton has to be moved for smaller deals a La Russell.
-
-
It also could end up getting them CP3 on a minimum deal, which would be great and the only way the Lakers add him. He will go to the Clippers because the Lakers won’t guarantee him a starting role.
-
I heard that Clipps might return Westy, mostly cuz he plays. Khawi and PG hurt more than LBJ and AD.
-
Clips 1st choice to start at PG is Russ for min.
If Russ says no, then CP3 has a shot to start.
Lakers should not offer that to Chris.
Come with us, it’s min and off the bench.
But you can be a big part of winning a chip.-
Well, start PC3, but keep him at low minutes overall. Need to do the same with LBJ.

Lakers Bet On Lights-Out Shooting And Aggressive Small Ball Defense
Redick’s surprise late-season gamble to transform the Lakers’ offense into a volume 3-point shooting juggernaut and their defense into a trapping and swarming small ball attack paid off big as L.A. won 50 games and #3 seed.

5 Things: The Real Season
The Lakers did what was needed to control their destiny and end up as the 3rd seed. They have a date with the 6th seeded Minnesota Timberwolves. It’s safe to say that there won’t be any easy roads to a title, especially in the loaded western conference, but facing the Timberwolves early is probably for […]

Of course this helps. The last thing they need is a 3rd guy on a supermax deal not giving them supermax performance nor durability.
