The Lakers came into Friday night’s Game Six against the Grizzlies looking to close out the series with a win. And with Jack Nicholson returning to his accustomed seat after a long absence, the Lakers proceeded to dismantle the Grizzlies with their best team effort all season as they win by Dillon Brooks’s favorite number (40) 125-85. Tune in as YouTube’s John Mikaelian, LakerTom of lakerholics.com, “MagicMan in the Morning” host Sean Grice, Joe Soro of lakersball.com/SynBlades.com, and Gerald Glassford from the Lakers Fast Break rejoice over the HUGE win, the brilliant play of the starting lineup, and our thoughts on who the Lakers might play next on Tuesday, Golden State or Sacramento. The Lakers are on the way to the second round and so are we at the Lakers Fast Break podcast!

As I proclaimed in the podcast, game ball to Darvin Ham for narrowing the rotation down to 7 players plus 4 minutes from Wenyen as the Lakers cruised to a first half lead. More of the same narrow rotation in the killer 3rd quarter to push the lead over 30. Then, what a great effort by the last 5 players on the Lakers roster as they pushed the lead to 40 with every Laker player posting a plus/minus. Great job by coaching staff. This Lakers team is going to win #18.

LBJ did exactly what he said he would and heard that AD said he would go 48 if needed. About 30 was all we needed, wow!
