Poor Luke he never had a chance. The Kings are a dumpster fire. They have 5 centers on the roster, 6 if you count Bagley, who can play both the 4 and the 5. A long history of questionable drafts hasn’t helped either.
Coaches are the buffer that saves GM’s jobs. I wonder what Vogel’s real vote was on the Westbrook issue? I mean, one thing about having a consensus and collaborative management process in place is that everybody in the end buys in on decisions for the good of the organization. So Frank may have acquiesced on trading for Westbrook even though he ultimately supported it.
Pelinka? Who knows. Maybe this was brought to him by LeBron and AD after talking with Russ. Does Rob turn it down then? LeBron doesn’t run the team … or does he? He has great power. We know that for sure. And is not afraid to wield it when he wants. The reality is it was a gamble that still might pay off. LeBron and AD are a lot better than we’ve seen so far this year. Let’s hope we get a glimpse of that today. Hell with a glimpse, we need a wave.

Perhaps the GM will be next. He should be.

Not surprisingly the coach went before the GM. Keep an eye on buy outs and trades now lol

10 coaches in 15 years. Missed the playoffs with all of them. Could it be the players?

It’s been a confluence of terrible choices compounded by bad luck.
