I will never understand why he spun the Lakers for the Clippers. Option number 1 was a no brainer and option number 2 might be respectable. What a wasted opportunity if the Clippers can’t make it out of the playoffs.
The Clippers should be able to win this series although it might take them 7 games to do it. But if the lose in the first round, Kawhi and PG would be on expiring contracts next year and they don’t have any draft picks or assets left to trade for another star so they might look to trade PG or risk losing him or Kawhi in free agency. They’re in a riskier situation than Lakers.
