Excellent response by JJ Redick on the issues of 'Is the NBA losing fans over boring copycat teams shooting too many threes?'
Per JJ, NBA needs to tell more positive story. Also, when 3's rise, so do points in the paint. League needs to sell that they're way better than old days https://t.co/nveO3wlDZz

I watched a game last night where the teams shot 108 three-pointers and made around 30% of them. I watched MEM/LAL the other night where 69 free throws were shot, 58 fouls were called, and 44 turnovers were committed. These aren’t outliers….you can see similar stats every week. Nobody wants to watch that shit and it’s the reason why I’m watching less & less and rarely post about it anymore. None of it is entertaining or compelling. This league has a major problem on the horizon and they need to get in front of it. They’ll continue to make money because live TV is so scarce but once the networks & streamers figure out the ROI is declining there will be a reckoning.
Couldn’t agree more. It’s not so much that threes are bad or anything it’s that the style of play has become rote and boring.
