Jaxson “Brook Lopez” Hayes:
Jaxson Hayes *can* be a *marginal* Spacing Big – IF he’s allowed to do so.
In 2021-22, Jax hit 20/57 3’s (35%).
He started the NOP’s final 24 gms at PF next to Jonas that season.
He shot 13/31 from 3 (42%) during that stretch. NO went 13-11.

When you think of the Lakers 2019 Draft Trifecta where the Lakers now have the #8 (Hayes), #9 (Hachimura), and #10 (Reddish) picks in that draft. In the end, Hayes was the guy who was the highest pick and may have the greatest ceiling of the three. I think he has a legitimate chance to start at the five for the Lakers and to become a stretch as well as defensive center.

I think he’ll take between 50-60 3 pt FGA/game, averaging roughly .7 attempts/game. If that’s a stretch anything than we got ourselves a whole stretch team.

He just can’t help it. The OCD about a 7′ 3pt chucker needs to be explored with a mental health professional.

I know. I should probably just scroll by anything stretch related lol
