Excellent piece by old blog friend Mark Medina, former moderator of the LA Times Lakers Blog. Lots of good inside info from Danny Green. Well worth reading. Thanks, Mark.
Personally I didn’t put much stock in anything that went down vote-wise after that first meeting. By every account I’ve read tempers were high, players were hot and we all know from personal experience smart decisions are rarely made in that state of mind. The next day instantly felt more productive and focused. That’s a very natural and normal progression of human emotions.
