Despite his lack of playing time in Game 2, Dwight Howard was 1st on the Lakers in net rating (41.7) and was joint top in plus/minus (+10).
In addition, he led the team in defensive rating, with 85.2.
He has to play as much as possible. It's his series! 🔥#LakeShow pic.twitter.com/RY25AflllW

Dwight did not play at all in the first or third quarters. Had two foul in 6.7 minutes the 2nd and 3 fouls in 6.1 minutes in the 4th. Played 12.8 minutes and had 5 fouls.
McGee played 11.8 minutes with a 8.0 net rating. Numbers say there may be something to the argument Vogel played JaVale to avoid having Dwight foul out.
I still do not like wasting minutes on McGee and need to look at the five man lineups. Morris was 39.2 net rating as we got killed when he was in because he was the center.
The key to me is keeping AD or Dwight at center 48 minutes per game. So if Morris can’t play the 5, then maybe McGee has to start and play a few minutes. Let’s see what we do Tuesday.
