Kyrie Irving purportedly wants to be a “voice for the voiceless” – so why does this Athletic story fail to quote him and instead rely on anonymous sources who claim to know his thinking?
Did the Athletic even try for an interview with Kyrie, to pressure-test these claims? pic.twitter.com/j6kwElL8Z1

The problem is Kyrie is supporting an interpretation of freedom that says the individual is more important than the whole population when it comes to areas like public health and vaccinations.
In other words, these people re losing their jobs because they won’t get vaccinated to protect those whom they serve. They’re putting themselves and others at risk of illness or death.
Supporting that actually means helping to spread misinformation and make others get Covid and maybe die or have long-term problems. That’s ignorant and criminal more than heroic.
