Lakers are discussing how/when to rest, LeBron, AD, etc., but Frank Vogel says "the plan right now is to play those guys. We still have a lot of areas to continue to improve."

I think Frank understands that we’re not going to win a championship playing the way we have so far. Can’t spot opponents 9 to 12 points in threes every game. Our guards are shooting dismal from deep. Were it not for our forwards, we could be 0 and 3 right now.
Frank needs to experiment with a different starting lineup in these last five games. although I doubt he will. Best we can probably hope for is putting Kuz in for JaVale at the 5 minute mark of the quarter rather than the 7 minute mark. Kuz and Waiters need more minutes.

I think that they’re going to ramp up some of the guys who need the reps a little more while seeing who flows with AD and LBJ within their normal game-to-game minutes allotment and time that they come in. Also who is best at holding the fort when one or both sit.

The last thing I expect Vogel to do is premature load management while we haven’t sorted out our workable rotation yet. The players had a good four months of rest. All they need to do is push through the rest of the season at full throttle while dusting off rust and finding the right combination of players and the right time to bring them in to go with the right substitution pattern.
