The Lakers better start interviewing candidates in whom they are really interested. I would rather take a gamble on a candidate who has HOF upside due to his BBIQ and rapport with LeBron than a long-time assistant who may not be head coach caliber. Big difference between being a head coach and an assistant. Most assistants don’t have the charisma and swagger to be the boss.
Hopefully, the Suns will hire Coach Bud and protect the Lakers from screwing themselves.
