It’s the contract more than his diminishing abilities. A slightly lesser Lebron is still a solid All-Star and barring injury, could remain so for a couple more seasons. Paying him 50+ mil for another couple seasons is more FO incompetence. Would 2 years, 60mil been such a slap in the face?
