Wow! Rafael said in the podcast today that this was going to be up to LeBron James. We’ll see what happens but if LeBron says it’s over, then it’s really over.
It’s going to be up to the owners tomorrow morning to find a way to get Wisconsin and Kenosha to ante up and do the right thing for Jacob Blake or the NBA playoffs will be dead.

This is really a very sad state of affairs, Tom. Me personally, I am hurting and confused right now. It seems like we are mired in a never ending cycle of social injustice that seems to only get worse. I did not see everything that happened in the video, but was there no other way to subdue an unarmed person besides shooting him 7 times? How many times do we have to hear the cries of the oppressed and the innocent? And when will these wolves in sheep’s clothing finally be held accountable for their aggression? Very disturbing indeed.
As far as the season goes, I am all for finishing this last phase. It took a lot to get to this point. Even though sports should take a back seat when the dark clouds of social injustice keep hovering over our heads, we must keep in mind this is a never ending cycle until those responsible are fully held accountable. They should go ahead and finish out the season. There is no point boycotting the season when another incident like is bound to happen again soon.
