Lots of fans looking for ferry tickets to Waiters’ Island!
I was very impressed with Waiters debut. If that performance holds, which I think will, he will make Rondo redundant even though I am longing for a playoff Rondo to be back.
Overall the first half was good but the second half goes to show the same problem we have been dealing with all season where the bench could not hold on to the lead. But it was good to see the bench get exteneded minutes to finish out the game. They don’t need to look confuse and nervous about their roles. Instead, they need to be bold and confident to make a game out of their available minutes. Kudos to the NBA for such a well coordinated plan.
The great thing about Waiters playing well, Buba, is he could not only help us win a championship but he is the same age as Anthony Davis and could be our third scorer and second playmaker going forward. He sure looked good last night. I’m hoping for big things from him these playoffs.
