Lakers need to guarantee DLO either a 3-year deal @ $23M per year via new contract or sign-and-trade.

FWIW, if he walks and signs elsewhere, we do then get a $12 million-ish exception, we’re not SOL. Not sure that’s the same w/LeBron, i think it had to do with how they structured his contract last summer…

Probably means some team with Cap already promised him. Not sure why anyone thinks this clown is worth much., The lakers are stuck in cap purgatory with their top-heavy roster, so they’d really be waiving the white flag if he walks.
